Valve unveiled the Steam Deck last July. Valve does not intend to create exclusive games. After all, this is only a portable version of a PC.
This does not make much sense for us, said Valve. It's a PC, and it should just play games like a PC.
You can install and add any game as you would on the Steam office,, have they pursued. Simply install the application, then add it to Steam from the desktop mode, and it will be displayed as on any PC.
At launch, Steam Deck will operate on a modified version of Steams Valve. Valve designed the device with an interface similar to that of a console. This type of interface will allow Steam Deck users to easily navigate the Steam Store and their own Steam libraries.
In addition to this, the portable device will also allow players to access an unrestricted desktop computer where third-party applications have been installed. This means that players will be able to play non-steam games on the device, technically turning it into a handheld.
That said, the development of exclusive titles at Steam Deck will only serve very little or now at all. Although this can increase the sales of the device, it should also frustrate players who do not have a deck.
In addition, Valve also asked whether the unit would support virtual reality capabilities. Technically, it's possible, confirmed Valve. But, we have not designed and optimized Steam Deck for the VR. However, they revealed that they I saw people the trucker.
The Steam Deck is the next valve portable game device that seems to be the company's response to the popular Nintendo Switch. The functionality is perhaps the same, but the community of players expect the first to be decently more powerful.
